In the year 2137, scholars found a portal to another dimension - Permafrost. A frozen world, with technologies from a vanished civilization, unlimited natural resources, and lethal monsters. Later on, they also found me: a rescuer from Emergency Services, who’d gone missing in the Arctic way back in 2023.

Now I owe them a ton of money for thawing me out, and the only possible way to settle my debt is to keep working in Permafrost. And I’ve already had some luck: beneath the ice, I found the Original - an ancient fighting machine, which is able to develop by killing monsters.

All I have to do is survive long enough to learn to use it, pay back my debts, and save the world while I’m at it…
