Eugeny Berger was born in a small mining town in Perm Territory, Russia. Sadly, he wasn’t known for any particular bravery as a child. So whenever his parents indulged in yet another episode of X-Files, he cowered in the family library, learning the ropes of writing – because he already knew that sooner or later, he was going to become a published author.

His labors finally paid off in 2015 when Eugeny’s first fully-fledged novel was traditionally published.

In the next two years, Eugeny penned a number of short books in various niche genres until 2018 – when, much to his fans’ delight, he embarked on a major original series titled Event Horizon. This time, new beginner writers were secretly studying his own books striving to emulate Eugeny’s style.

He currently has over 60 published novels to his credit, some of which have won a number of literary awards.

Eugeny still lives in the city of Perm which he cherishes deeply, much like Shrek used to cherish his own swamp.

When he’s not writing fiction, Eugeny creates computer game plots and doubles as a drift team manager.

He feels inspired by music, movies, TV series, and books by fellow authors. He believes that the color purple was invented by geniuses – and that pepperoni pizza is a cure for all ailments.
