Alex Bredvik

Alex started writing in 2015 while still in college. There, the choice was simple: you either fell asleep during class or tried to do something remotely productive. For Alex, that “something” was penning his first short story in an empty notebook. Admittedly, the notebook ended way too quickly, followed by another one – filled entirely by hand in an age of computer keyboards! Later, Alex admitted he had no idea how he’d managed it – but he had.

He continued to write in freehand well into 2020, thinking that’s how “real authors” did it. That was when he discovered he could actually publish his writing on the Internet. He posted one of his stories on a writers’ portal – but the experience was so memorable that he was obliged to leave and start searching for another outlet. Since then, things have started to move. In 2021, Alex won a writing contest which decided his future creative leaning, namely gamelit. The body of his work kept growing, some of his books resonating with his readers, others not so much. As a result, he came up with the story of an Ancient Greek demigod, the son of the original Chaos himself, whose epic adventures unfolded in an alternative Greece which had never bent a knee to Rome.

And that’s not the end of it, as Alex continues to put pen to paper – albeit now metaphorically…

Who am I? Why did I survive? And why in Hades are creatures from ancient legends suddenly appearing around me?!

But even if that’s the case — spear in hand, forward. A true Spartan earns the right to die only in battle!
