Of course, all of us have our own ideas of what constitutes a great story. Here’s our take on what it means for us. Please be aware that we place great importance on the following things:

The plot

It is essential, as you will agree. The story arcs that make up the book should be as gripping as the slopes of the Himalayas. A good book does not wander: it captures readers from the first pages, makes them want to know what happens next, and delivers a satisfying answer at the end.

The characters

Characters are not simple stereotypes whose only purpose is to move the protagonist forward. They are individuals in their own right, with their own goals and their own lives within the story.

Your writing style

We do not expect you to be a virtuoso with exceptional eloquence, but your command of writing craft will play a decisive role in your book's success with readers.
