The depths of the Rift are not forgiving of hubris. I thought I knew everything there was to know about survival, but the real war is just beginning. It turns out that my pack contains the key to world domination, and those madmen, the Seven Druids, are about to drown the world in blood and take control of the remaining primordial elements.
The race is on. My goal is to find the wounded God of Fire in the maximum danger zone before the enemies get to him.
But in this forest, every victory comes with a price. There's no room for gallantry here, there are only predators and prey. When my pack finds itself on the brink of extinction, and my trusted companions die in my arms, I'll be faced with a choice. Will I keep what's left of my humanity and lose, or accept the Darkness into my core, break the laws of the System, and become a monster that even the Druids will fear?
I am a gamekeeper. If I have to enter into a pact with the primordial elements and tear my enemies' throats out with my own claws to protect my pack, I will.
