In 1809, the jeweler’s position in St Petersburg becomes more secure. His workshop is making money, and his clientele is expanding. As his fame grows, his pieces become more and more valuable. Grigory is used to relying on his skill and his knowledge from the future, but his new commissions are attracting the attention of important people for whom jewelry is part of a larger game.
In volume 4, Grigory continues to establish his jewelry shop, fortify his position in high society, and delve deeper into the life of the Russian capital. His knowledge gives him an advantage, but from now on, he’s going to need more than just skill.
