NO TO WAR!

We expressly condemn the military aggression which is currently unfolding in the territory of Ukraine. Our deepest condolences go to all the victims of this war and to all those whose lives have come under threat, forcing them to abandon their homes and flee to safety. This nightmare must end as soon as possible!

There’re plenty of instruments of peace in the 21st century permitting everyone to resolve all conflicts at the negotiation table without resorting to weapons. This is exactly what our job has always been about: the ability to communicate across languages. The multicultural communities which have recently sprouted not least due to our efforts are proof enough. We expect the rational and humane problem-solving methods to prevail because rebuilding something is much harder than ripping it apart.

We would like to express our support to all those actively working to end this conflict and strongly hope that we can overcome it together, all of us. Thank you so much for your support - and may the world of tomorrow be just a little bit brighter!
