Revenge has become a thing of the past. The Circle Order and the Council of Four have accomplished what was deemed impossible for sixty years: they have restored the Chaos clan.
The Greymores are no longer in disgrace. We have regained the title of Great House, but this has brought us no joy. The inertia of thinking is a terrible thing: chaos mages are still considered dangerous criminals, and even the emperor's decree can’t change that. To make things worse, now that the Greymores have their own home, we’ve become an easy prey.
Oh well, let them try. Who are we to say no when resources are flowing into our hands? As for everything else, we'll deal with it. This is something we're really good at.
