Darkness gathers over the Empire as the League of Assassins sends its vampires to Mikhail’s estate—only to find... Bulatov! It is highly unlikely that this is going to end well for the Assassins. At the castle, the demon-chef Ivlet and a mysterious guest—a demoness who happens to be the wife of the lawyer Rafik—serve only to heighten the atmosphere of mystery and foreboding.
And when Mikhail destroys an ancient tower, a sinister castle rises up in its place—a gateway for the leader of the Demonic Dominion, from which hordes of invaders emerge via mystical portals. In the East, the Chinese Empire summons Bulatov to Tibet, where he and his forces engage in battle, halting demons right at the borders. For his faithful service, the Chinese emperor provides Bulatov with caches of weaponry, which he secretly sends home through portals in preparation for the incredible finale.
