Inside it lies Eternity.
You could call it an afterlife of sorts, I suppose: a world where a chosen few can gain immortality after their physical death. But unlike the ephemeral “afterlife” here on Earth, that one is perfectly real, its gates occasionally parting to release a very special kind of visitors who call themselves Emissaries of Eternity.
Did I say visitors? Or do they really own our world?
Too many things to try and work out. Still, I need to remember that these masters of Eternity are only interested in one thing - the only property that links our two worlds together.
