The frozen mysteries of Siberia are calling once again! The Possessed, the third book in Vlad Vasylenko’s Progression Fantasy series The Eye of Winter, is now available!
Bogdan Vasilevsky has already survived more than most people could endure. Stranded in another man’s body in an alternate Russian Empire of 1903, he has discovered the strange power of edra, awakened a forbidden Gift, enrolled at the Mining Institute in Tomsk, and crossed paths with creatures that should never have existed.

With The Possessed, the world of The Eye of Winter continues to expand, combining Progression Fantasy and urban fantasy with alternative history and Siberian folklore. Vlad Vasylenko has paid particular attention to the atmosphere of early-twentieth-century Siberia, drawing on historical maps, newspapers, photographs, menus, and other sources to give his fantastical version of 1903 Tomsk a foundation in the real city and its history.
