In 2013, Dmitry Sheleg decided to radically change his life by trying to become a writer. And already in the fall of 2014, his first novel Unhuman was released by one of the country’s leading sci fi & fantasy publishing houses, Alpha Kniga. The resulting 7-book series received an avalanche of positive reviews from both readers and literary critics.

In 2019, Dmitry started a new novel: The Heir of an Ancient Bloodline, which later became the first book in his new series Living Ice. It was met with a lot of praise and received bestselling rankings in online book stores. Inspired by the first book’s success, Dmitry wrote eight more titles, completing the Living Ice series in 2023.

Currently the author lives and works in Minsk, Belarus. He’s married and is busy raising a wonderful daughter and an amazing son.
