Wuxia Books

Wuxia is a genre of Chinese adventure fiction about martial-arts masters travelling through a world of rival schools, clans, and warriors. Honour, loyalty, revenge, mastery, and a hero’s personal code are often as important as the duels themselves.

Wuxia differs from cultivation primarily in the scale of character progression. It usually centres on martial-arts mastery and the world of warriors, while cultivation more often goes further toward supernatural levels of power, spiritual refinement, and the desire to overcome human limits.
