Virtual Reality Books

Virtual reality fiction is devoted to digital worlds that people can enter through virtual-reality technology. For its characters, this environment can be entertainment, a workplace, an alternative life, or a place where virtual events have very real consequences.

Unlike LitRPG, a virtual world in this genre does not have to be a role-playing game. Levels, statistics, and classes are optional: the essential element is the technology of immersion itself and the boundary between physical and digital reality.
